Application for Project Research Position

Applications are invited from students interested to pursue Ph.D. research in a project titled 'Arsenic biogeochemical cycling in groundwater aquifers of the Bengal Delta Plains (West Bengal, India): Early detection and remediation issues' funded by Swedish Research Links Programme to be based at the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research-Kolkata (IISER-K).

Essential Qualifications
Candidates having good academic record with M.Sc. or equivalent degree (Minimum 60%) in Microbiology/Chemistry preferably with CSIR-NET/UGC qualifications can send their CV electronically at arsenicprojectsrl@gmail.com by 21st April, 2010.

Selection

Selected candidates will be called for interview in IISER, Kolkata in the first week of May. Travelling expenses for the interview will be paid for.
