IISER has its Computer Center to maintain the
Proxy,mail,DNS,DHCP,web & library services. It also provides the
computation facility to the students, faculty and staff members of the
institute. It has various high end servers like AMD quad core, rack
servers, IBM xeon servers for the purpose. Computer center also
provides the network service to the institute.Presently the center has
a computation lab & a server room. computation lab is equiped with
more than 30 high end dual boot workstations.The computatonal lab is
used by various departments for simulation & programming.Students
only use linux environment for internet access. Network printer &
scanner are configured with all the clients for helping users.The
institute has both wired & wireless networks covering all part of
the institute.
