Preamble
This is second part of the two-semester long primer on computer programming aimed at Level 1. Together with CS1101, this course completes elementary introduction to computer programming and some of its applications.

Syllabus

  • Root finding by the bisection, regula falsi and Newton-Raphson methods.
  • Study of iteration systems bifurcation and chaos
  • Solving ordinary differential equations by the Euler and
    Runge-Kutta methods.
  • Interpolation and extrapolation from data sets.
  • Random processes and probabilities.
  • Elementary simulations of physical, chemical or biological
    systems.
