Welcome

The Department of Biological Sciences, IISER-Kolkata is organizing a national

symposium on “Frontiers in Modern Biology - 2012 (FIMB – 2012)” at IISER-

Kolkata’s Mohanpur campus on February 4th & 5th, 2012. The symposium will

comprise nine invited talks by eminent scientists covering diverse areas of

modern biology including cell & molecular biology, structural biology &

biophysics and ecology & behavioural sciences. In addition, there will be

poster and platform presentation sessions also. We are looking forward to two

days of great talks, engaging discussion and networking opportunities with

researchers across India in an informal setting.
