Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Mathematics from Lady Shriram College, 1997-2000, New Delhi, India.

I have spent three months at the Tata Institute of Fundamental Research, Mumbai, India as a visiting student.

I finished my MSc in June, 2002 under the supervision of M. Ram Murty in the Department of Mathematics at Queen's University, Kingston, Canada. My Master's thesis was on Generalized Hurwitz Zeta Functions .

I finished my PhD in June, 2006 under the supervision of M. Ram Murty in the Department of Mathematics at Queen's University, Kingston, Canada. My PhD thesis was on "Effective equidistribution of eigenvalues of Hecke operators".

After my PhD, I was a postdoctoral fellow at University of Toronto from July 2006 to June 2008 working with Kumar Murty and member of the Ganita Laboratory.

I have also learnt some great Mathematics from Ernst Kani, Mike Roth and Roland Speicher at Queen's and Valentin Blomer at Toronto.

From July 2008 to June 2010, I was a PIMS Postdoctoral Fellow at University of Alberta, working with Matilde Lalín.

Since July 2010, I am a faculty member at IISER, Kolkata, a new initiative by the Government of India to promote education and research in the sciences.

From January to May, 2011, I was a Postdoctoral Fellow at MSRI, Berkeley for their semester program on Arithmetic Statistics.
