| Details: | Breaking away from the present paradigm that uses machine learning more as a tool for sensing patterns in highly complex datasets, I ask the following question: Can ML be a teacher to spark our creativity? Can it encourage us to think along completely new directions? Open new horizons for those who wish to learn from it? I argue that Google DeepMind's neural network AlphaZero serves as an example in the affirmative, and its achievements in the game of chess are causing a revolution for human chess players. |
