| Details: | One notices, beginning from the age of enlightenment in Europe onwards, a divide in mindset between scientists on the one hand and educated/creative persons in other disciplines on the other. This may have occasionally stood in the way of mutual understanding between scientists and `non-scientific' thinkers. Bridging such gaps requires not only the intensification of such understanding but also some appreciation of different styles of functioning of the human mind. |
