Abstract submission guidelines


Abstract submission for FIMB-2012 is now closed!

The shortlisted authors have been notified via email.



The organizers of FIMB 2012 invite abstracts for poster and platform presentations.

Each abstracts will be screened by a review committee prior to selection. Please note

that slots for platform presentation are limited, so each author should be prepared to

present a poster. Abstract submission deadline is December 31st 2011 and the

selection confirmation will be sent soon after that. Abstract authors are required to

register to participate in FIMB 2012.

  • Abstract title - short and informative, max. 150 characters (including spaces), Bold font.
  • Author information - Abstract title should be followed by authors’ first and last names (name of the presenting author should be underlined). Each author’s institution should be mentioned with appropriate superscript numbers.
  • Abstract text - max. 300 words. It should contain a brief summary of the statement of purpose, methodologies used and results obtained. Do not include tables or figures in the abstract.
  • Abstract format - use Microsoft word, Times New Roman, 12 pt, 1.5 spacing.
  • File naming - The abstract file must be named according to presenting authors last name and first initial (e.g. ‘Yadav R.doc’ for Rajkumar Yadav).


Non-compliance to the above guidelines may lead to cancellation of the abstract.
