Materials like Graphene and Topological Insulators have brought in Dirac theory in the realm of low energy physics. Seemingly abstract subjects like Axial anomaly and ChernSimons theories have naturally manifested in some of these novel materials. Moreover, experimental realisation of Chiral Spin Liquid has spurred significant activity in this area. Hence, a gathering of practitioners of field theories will be worthwhile and useful, for taking stock of recent developments and for future direction of work.
We encourage PhD students, PDF and colleagues to participate. There will be poster sessions also. Please email abstracts of posters and talks, and for any other relevent query, to ftrta2011@iiserkol.ac.in
