I am Ritesh Kumar Singh and I am a physicist by profession. At present I am working as an Assistant Professor of physics at IISER - Kolkata [Wiki] in the Department of Physical Sciences.
At present I live in Kalyani, West Bengal, India though I hail from Bihar/Jharkhand province of Republic of India. I lived at various places in Bihar and Jharkhand before moving to Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, in southern India, for my M.S. and Ph.D. in Physics. Afterwards, I moved to France for two years, then to Würzburg, Germany for three year and then back to India at IISER - Kolkata, where I am continuing my research.
I am working in the field of High Energy Particle Physics. My main interest lies in Higgs boson, CP violation, top-quarks, polarization effects, heavy resonances, etc. Though my research area has a key word "energy" in it, I am not working on solving the "energy crisis" of the world.
