Our Motivation
The sustainable synthesis of value-added organic molecules is crucial for addressing global challenges across pharmaceuticals, materials science, agriculture, and energy. Catalysis is the key to unlocking these essential chemical processes.
Our laboratory develops innovative, small-molecule catalysts using Earth-abundant and cost-effective resources. Integrating organic synthesis, organometallic chemistry, and physical organic chemistry, we focus on small-molecule activation and asymmetric catalysis to build the next generation of synthetically and pharmaceutically relevant molecules.
