(i) Sample preparation using solid state reaction route (ii) X-ray diffraction of the powder. (iii) Pellet preparation of the samples (iv) Thin film deposition using Pulsed Laser Deposition (v) Magnetic measurements of these thin films in SQUID magnetometer (vi) Transport property measurement using a close cycle refrigerator. (vii) Magneto-optic Kerr effect of some magnetic thin films. The samples that will be studied are high temperature superconductors and manganites. |
