PRATAP 2025 marked IISER Kolkata’s first-ever inter-college athletics meet - a celebration of strength, speed, and sportsmanship. Over two action-packed days (8-9th November), athletes from across institutes came together to compete, connect, and create history on our newly prepared athletics ground. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from colleges nearby, making it a true convergence of athletic talent and spirit. PRATAP 2025 marks the beginning of a new sporting legacy at IISER Kolkata.

Inquivesta – the country's largest science festival, hosted by IISER-Kolkata – was started in 2011, to ignite curiosity in young minds. Currently in its 10th edition, the fest sees participation of more than 1000 students from more than 100 colleges and schools across the country. The fest brings with it exciting events, seminars and workshops that cater to the interests of all students across India - the future scientists and engineers; the artists and dramatists; the dreamers and the doers.

The Entrepreneurship Cell of IISER Kolkata fosters the kindling of an entrepreneurial spirit in the student community and promote the conversion of fledgling ideas into real-world businesses. The E-Cell works in tandem with the IISER Kolkata incubation center: RISE foundation. It organizes events and provides resources to support budding student entrepreneurs.

Slashdot is IISER Kolkata's Coding and Designing Club. They regularly host workshops and competitions in various programming languages and design software. They also promote open-source projects and competitive programming to develop stellar programmers and designers.
