The Earth System, Evolution of the solar system and formation of the (inner) rocky planets, Interior of the Earth, Plate Tectonics The Kinetic Earth, Analyzing Plate Boundaries: Major types, Deformation at Boundaries: Faulting & Earthquake Sources, Deformation at Depths: Folding, Rock cycle: Minerals, Igneous rocks and volcanoes, Metamorphic rocks, Surface processes: Weathering & erosion, Sedimentary rocks, Ocean: The great buffer and sink, Treasure from the rock: Igneous and metamorphic rocks, Coal, Petroleum and natural gas, Time scale-relative and absolute, History of life through time. Earth sciences and society, the human impact on Earths environment.
