Earthquake source and implication to Geodynamics, heat transfer; Fluid Mechanics: 1D channel flow, Asthenospheric counterflow, Plate motion, Factors controlling plate subduction, Response of mantle to loading/unloading at surface; Rock rheology: Deformation mechanisms & flow laws, folding of rocks; Mechanics at divergent plate boundaries; Mechanics at convergent plate boundaries (mountain belts): Channel flow model, Critical wedge theory |
