Syllabus
1. Preparation of Potassium Trioxalatoferrate (III): Synthesis, UV/vis spectral analysis and Photochemistry.

2. Beers law: Preparation of the calibration plot and determination of unknown concentration.

3. Silver Nanoparticles: Synthesis of colloidal solution, agglomeration and determination of band gap using UV/vis spectroscopy.

4. Cadmium Sulfide Nanoparticles: Synthesis, optical characterization and determination of band gap.

5. Linkage Isomers: Synthesis of isomers [Co(NH3)5ONO]Cl2 and [Co(NH3)5NO2]Cl2 and characterization by UV/vis and infrared (IR) spectroscopy.

6. cis and trans-isomers: Synthesis of geometrical isomers cis and trans-dichlorobis (ethylenediamine) cobalt (III) Chloride and characterization by UV/vis and IR spectroscopy.

7. Salicylate Detection: Detection by complexation with iron (III) salt and optical absorbance spectroscopy and determination of reaction stoichiometry by applying the method of continuous variation (Jobs method).
