Failure of classical mechanics, introduction to quantum mechanics, de Broglie waves, uncertainty principle, wave function and Schrodinger equation, postulates of quantum mechanics, operators, eigenfunctions and eigenvalues, probability interpretation, particle in a box, qualitative summary of simple harmonic oscillator and hydrogen atom problem. |
