Preamble
This course covers the fundamentals on understating cancer in terms of biology and therapeutics. Thus, the students will learn and develop with the concepts of the hallmarks of cancer at the cell-, tissue- and molecular levels and current research on different therapeutic protocols.

Hallmarks of cancer: Ten hallmarks of cancer anda brief discussion on them, Steps of cancer progression
Understanding cancer biology at the level of: Oncogenes and tumor suppressor genes, Growth factors and anti-growth factors and receptors related to cancer, Cell cycle and Apoptosis, Telomere and telomerase, Chromosome instability and epigenetic regulations, Angiogenesis and Metastasis, Cancer metabolism, Tumor immunology
Cancer therapeutics: Chemotherapy, Radiotherapy, Immunotherapy and Precision Medicine
