Frontiers in Modern Biology (FIMB) is the flagship Symposium of the Department of Biological Sciences, IISER Kolkata, a leading Biological Sciences department in India. FIMB-2026 will be the 8th edition of this symposium and will be held on our campus at Mohanpur, West Bengal. This year's symposium will focus on "From Basic Science to Translational Research" and will involve lectures by eminent scientists from India and abroad. The symposium provides a platform for insightful discussions on diverse topics in modern biology and will enable budding researchers across India to showcase their work.
