A magnitude 5.8 (Mw) earthquake hit Myanmar on 09 January 2013 and was widely felt across northeast India.
The transverse component broadband record from the IISER Kolkata seismological observatory and the S-wave spectra of the event is plotted below.
The Origin time and location is taken from NEIC. The source parametrers (M0, Mw, circular fault radius and stress drop) have been computed from the S-wave spectra and is given in the plot below.
