We are delighted to announce the publication of a much-needed and impactful research
study led by Prof. Gopala Krishna Darbha and his student Abhishek Biswas, with co-authors
Nirupama Saini, Prof. Punyasloke Bhaduri, and collaborators from AIIMS Kalyani and IMSc
Chennai.
The study has been published in the prestigious Environment International (Q1 journal,
Impact Factor: 9.7) under the title:
“The dawn of a new air pollutant: inhalable microplastics as emerging vectors of hazardous
contaminants and their implications for human health.”
