Amar Deo Chandra



Amar completed his Integrated M.Sc. from Centre for Excellence in Basic Sciences and joined CESSI, IISER Kolkata in 2015 as PhD student (INSPIRE fellow). Currently working in the project Adaptive optics based imaging and spectroscopy in collaboration with CESSI, IISER Kolkata .

Roshan Tiwari



Roshan completed his B.Sc. from Banaras Hindu University and joined IISER Kolkata in 2014 as Int. PhD student. current research interests includes studying the waveguiding properties in peptides namely diphenylalanine and focussing on their applications in sensing and others. I am also interested in fabricating micropatterns using Laser induced microbubbes.

Ram Nandan Kumar



Ram Nandan completed his B.Sc. from Banaras Hindu University and joined IISER Kolkata in 2017 as Int. PhD student. Currently working in the project Theoretical and experimental studies of the SOI of light in Optical Tweezers.

Sauvik Roy



Sauvik completed his M.Sc. from Indian Association for the Cultivation Of Science and joined IISER Kolkata in 2019 as PhD student (INSPIRE Fellow). Currently working in the project Theoretical and experimental studies of the SOI of light in Optical Tweezers.

Anita Pahi



Anita completed her M.Sc. from Pondicherry University and joined IISER Kolkata in 2019 as PhD student. Currently working in the project Trapping of Micro-particles in Air.

Biswajit Das



Biswajit completed his B.Sc. from Midnapore college (Autonomous) and joined IISER Kolkata in 2018 as Int. PhD student. Currently working on non-equilibrium physics of mesoscopic systems controlled by optical tweezers using stochastic thermodynamics.

Anand Dev Ranjan



Anand completed his Msc from IIT Madras and joined IISER Kolkata in 2019 as a project student. Later he joined IISERK as PhD student in 2021. Currently working on theoretical and experimental studies of microbubbles.

Anisha Majhi



Anisha completed her Bsc from Lady Brabourne College, Calcutta University and joined IISER Kolkata in 2019 as an Int. PhD student. Currently studying about Cell Membrane Tension using Optical Tweezers

Sramana Das



Sramana completed her Bsc from Bethune College, Calcutta University and masters in IIT Patna. She joined IISER Kolkata in 2022 as a PhD student. Currently studying about Spin-Orbit interaction of light in Optical Tweezers.
