Mr. Shamik Chanda

Shamik has completed M.Sc in Physics from IIEST Shibpur in 2020 with first class. His ongoing research involves theoretical chemical physics more inclined towards the development of new quantum chemical methods to explore strong correlation and relativistic effects in many-electron systems. He is particularly working on multi-reference studies of strongly correlated conjugated molecules which are recently exposed to be more efficient OLED materials. Besides academical research, Shamik is also a singer and he enjoys listening to music, reading books in his free time.
