Indian Institute of Science Education and Research Kolkata organized the IISER Kolkata–University of Bayreuth Joint Workshop on “Sustainable Catalysis and Energy Solutions” on 25–26 February 2026 at the institute campus. The workshop brought together leading researchers and scholars to discuss recent advances in sustainable catalysis, energy technologies, and related innovations. Five distinguished researchers from the University of Bayreuth, Germany visited IISER Kolkata and shared their expertise through presentations and discussions, greatly enriching the scientific interactions during the event. The workshop aimed to foster meaningful scientific exchange and strengthen collaborative research between the two institutions in the areas of sustainable catalysis, energy solutions, and emerging sustainable technologies.
