AB Research Group

Asim Kumar Panda was born in Egra, Purba Medinipur, West Bengal, India, on 8th October 2001. He completed his Secondary (2018) and Higher Secondary (2020) education from Tikrapara A.M. High School, Purba Medinipur, under WBBSE and WBCHSE respectively. Asim graduated with a B.Sc. degree from Midnapore College (Autonomous) in May 2023. He graduated with an M.Sc. degree from IIT (ISM) Dhanbad, in May 2025. He also qualified CSIR NET-JRF in both June 2024 and December 2024, as well as GATE 2024 and GATE 2025. Asim joined the AB Research Group at IISER Kolkata in August 2025. Beyond academics, his hobbies are travelling, listening to music, watching movies and web series, playing chess and cricket etc.
