Tusharkanta Mirdha was born in Sikirdi , Barpali, Bargarh , Odisha , India , on 2nd January 2000. He completed his Secondary education (2015) under the Board of Secondary Education (BSE), Odisha, and his Higher Secondary education (2017) under the Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE), Odisha, respectively. He obtained his B.Sc. degree in Chemistry from Buxi Jagabandhu Bidyadhar (BJB) Autonomous College, Bhubaneswar, under Utkal University, in 2022. He graduated with an M.Sc. degree in Chemistry from Gangadhar Meher University, Sambalpur, Odisha, in 2025.He qualified the CSIR-UGC NET examination in June 2025 and joined the AB Research Group at IISER Kolkata as a Ph.D. scholar in Chemical Sciences. Beyond academics, his hobbies include travelling, listening to music, watching movies and web series, and exploring new technologies.
