Research Interest:

We are trying to understand the action mechanisms of an essential bacterial GTPase protein CgtA (Obg) that is a new drug target against increasing antimicrobial resistance. For this we use various Molecular Biological, Microbiological, Structural Biological and Computational tools. We are also interested in structure function study of certain plant viruses that cause huge economic loss in India and in the world.
