1. Chemical characterization, mass balance and atmospheric transport of fine mode aerosol.2. Aerosol source apportionment using receptor modeling approaches, especially to distinguish local-scale urban emissions from regionally transported plumes.3. Measurement of atmospheric black carbon and other light absorbing species using chemical and optical approaches; Reconstruction of historical atmospheric black carbon.4. Distribution and sources of tropospheric halocarbons and other VOCs.
