Research Associate Position
Applications are invited from the citizens of India for research associate position for the sponsored project in the Department of Chemical Sciences, IISER Kolkata. This temporary position is initially for a period of one year and tenable only for the duration of the project. The requisite qualification, experience, etc. are given below:

Project and Job description : Study the effect of various parameters such as pH, temperature, -R group of amino acids, size and nature of counter anions, etc. on nanostructuring and phase behaviour of polyelectrolyte solutions and the polyelectrolyte complex formation from side-chain amino acid based cationic polymers and poly(acrylic/methacrylic acid) in organic and aqueous solutions. Candidates having research experience in polymer synthesis and characterization will be preferred.
Qualifications : Suitable candidates must have submitted their thesis or must have a Ph. D. degree in Chemistry.
Age limit : Upper age limit: 35 years as on the day on which the application is made. The upper age limit is relaxable up to 5 years in the case of candidates belonging to scheduled castes/tribes/OBC, women and physically handicapped candidates.
