Advertisement for Position of Project SRF (CSIR Project)

Applications are invited for the post of one Project SRF contractual position for a CSIR sponsored research project “Development of Synthetic Methodologies by Photoredox Catalysis Based on Non-Covalent Interactions and Cooperative Catalysis” undertaken in the Department of Chemical Sciences, IISER Kolkata.

Position: Project SRF

No. of Vacancy: 1

Minimum Eligibility - M.Sc or equivalent degree in Chemistry and at least 2 YEARS of POST-M.SC EXPERIENCE as evidence from published papers in standard referred journals.

Age limit: 32 years

Desirable Qualifications: Working experience in the area of organic synthesis with exposure to photoredox/electroredox and other redox mediated synthetic techniques is preferable. Experience in performing cyclic voltammetry, NMR spectroscopy and other basic spectroscopic techniques is also desirable.

Salary: 35,000/- per month + HRA

Tenure of the post will initially be for 12 months but likely to be extendable for two more years subject to the performance of the candidate and availability of funds.
