Walk-in Interview for the Position of Junior Assistant in DoIRO Office (Purely on Contract)
Indian Institute of Science Education and Research Kolkata (IISER Kolkata) was established in 2006 by the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India. IISER Kolkata is designed to reach the prestigious position in the global setting that IISc, IIMs and IITs presently enjoy. IISER Kolkata is an autonomous institution awarding its own degrees. The central theme of the IISER Kolkata is to integrate education with research so that undergraduate teaching as well as doctoral and postdoctoral research work could be carried out in symbiosis.
A walk-in interview will be held for the position of Junior Assistant(purely on contract) to work in Dean of International Relations and Outreach Section, Indian Institute of Science Education and Research Kolkata(IISER Kolkata).The Junior Assistant(purely on contract) position will be initially for a period of one year. The tenure can be extended further depending upon performance of the candidate and requirement of the Institute.
Essential qualifications: Highly motivated graduate candidates can apply for the position of Junior Assistant (purely on contract).
Desirable experience/knowledge: Experience/knowledge in social media management tools like Facebook, LinkedIN, Twitter, Instagram, with good command in English (both written and spoken) is desirable. Candidate with prior experience in the similar field shall be preferred.
Job profile: Job may require preparation of official note sheet, office order, emails to many national and international universities/institutes, contact universities/institutes/consortium over phone, maintain interpersonal relationships with other sections of the Institutes, draft MoUs/Agreements, contact companies for placement matters and do any other work as and when assigned for.
Expected Emoluments: Gross emolument is Rs.12000/-(approx) per month.
Term of Appointment: If selected, the candidate will be engaged through third party service provider. The selected candidate shall be required to join the duty immediately.
